Autumnal walk after school x

As soon as we got back from school this afternoon we kicked off our shoes and put our boots on and went for a stroll through the fields. It was a lovely walk In the fresh air. Got some lovely pictures, no filter :-)

A Frozen Cake xx

Thought I'd share the frozen cake I made for my friends children's birthday party. 

And 12 cupcakes..

They all went down a treat :-)

Halloween party!

We had the most amazing halloween party last night, so many people came along and partied with us.

I decorated the kitchen, utility and back garden with spooky cobwebs, skeletons and spiders etc and we had a long line of pumpkins that people brought along!

The grown ups played the "sticky donuts game"... You have donuts hanging from strings and you have to eat them without using your hands! So much fun!

Then for the children we did Apple bobbing.... 

So much fun had by everyone and I feel very lucky to have such an amazing bunch of family and friends.

Hospital check up and shopping!

After a boring hospital check up for Mummy, we took a trip to Macdonalds for dinner and then for a mooch round the shops. Brandon and Rosie had some pennies to spend as a treat from Grandma :-) 

Brandon ordered spiderman 2 game online for his PS3 as we couldn't find it in the shops.

Look at the excitement! ...

Rosie chose a my little pony set with a carriage, she loves it.

I bought a couple of bits for myself too! I'd ran out of dry shampoo and was low on deodorant so I've topped up on those. I also treated myself to a new mascara and a new foundation brush as I broke my other one the other day. Bought a real techniques foundation brush from the pixiwoo girls. Can't wait to try it this morning! Love the pixiwoo girls, I often watch their videos on YouTube. 

Jamie was looking for some trainers but didn't see any he liked so he is going to have a look online. We could all do with updating our wardrobes with autumn/winter clothes so we might need to do a bit more shopping! 

Anyway, must dash as I've got a busy day preparing for our Halloween party tomorrow!

Crazee bongos, old fashioned sweet shop and chippy chips!

Hello! 

Well where do I start! We have had a fabulous day today!

We took a trip to a local indoor play area this afternoon called Crazee Bongos, the kids had a great run around and got rather hot and sweaty! 

After they ran out of energy I nipped into an old fashioned sweet shop and got everyone a treat :-) followed by a treat to the chippy on the way home for chippy chips and gravy! 

Now we are all snuggled up watching Wallis and Gromit.

We have had a day at home today, painting pictures, playing toys and carving a pumpkin! 

We have 3 to do in total ready for our Halloween party on Friday but I thought I'd show you the first one....

Meet Charlie 🐶

For the last week we have been looking after a scotty dog called Charlie. He belongs to Jamie's boss and has come to stay with us while they are on holiday. 

He is lovely we want to keep him! He is 12 and full of character.

Although on Monday night he wasn't my favourite as he was up all night crying and howling! 

Jamie was called out to a huge hay bale fire in the night and I think that unsettled him. 

But other than that we have all really enjoyed having him and don't want him to go home tomorrow! 

We went out for a lovely walk through a local woods yesterday and then today we went to a park, he enjoyed plodding through the autumn leaves. So did we!

Hello and welcome to our new family blog!

We are a family of four, there's Brandon who is 7 years old, Rosie who is 4 and Mummy and Daddy! I am Kim, i am 28 (holymoly) and i became a stay at home parent earlier on in the year. My partner is Jamie, he is 27 (toyboy!) and he is a Joiner for a local business called Andrew Dams Garage Door and Shed Centre. He is also a retained firefighter at the local station.

I have decided to start blogging about our family life so in the future we can all look back on the memories and i am going to set up an email address each for Brandon & Rosie so i can email links and updates to it for when they are older.

I am hoping to catch some good memories so fingers crossed!
